When I first heard about Pocket Decider, I thought it might be one of those "Magic 8 Ball" emulators. Actually, it seems to be a lot more indepth than that. It is a decision tool based on MCDA model (Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis), specially designed to be used on mobile devices. Seems very complete.
However looks overkill for most cases.
I personally make an XL spreadsheet on my PPC (actually SpreadCE, that's more compatible with desktop XL than Pocket XL itself ).
I just list every feature I like and attribute some value according to my tastes, priorities, requirements, etc. Each column lists A: feature, B: device, C: points, D: device, E: points, etc.
The highest total wins my decision.
That's how I chose my PDAs since 1999.
And I can do graphics too, and very easily work on both my PPC and desktop.
