Programs for students

Hi all,
I'm trying to find programs for my iPAQ for students.
I need to orgnize my classes, grades, calendar.
I found demo's for CoursePro, The dog ate it and ProStudent.
Does someone know other freeware programs that are similar or better?
Thanks

Hi pilot10 and welcome to our forums.
I have heard good things about the dog ate it. So if you were going with a paid for program, I'd lean toward that. As for freeware, I'd simply use the built in PIM capabilities of your Pocket PC. You can use desktop Outlook to granularly schedule all of your classes, and tasks. to the nth degree. Sync over to your Pocket PC and edit.
Set alarms and reminders of your report deadlines. In my opinion, you could do a great deal just with the built in options.

The Dog Ate It

I am a student myself and I use "The Dog Ate It." I really like it. I've never used any other program so I can't really compare it to anything, but I definitely recommend it. It's very user friendly and versatile. You can change some of the color and use different little icons for different classes. When you add assignments to it you can even choose to add it to your Outlook tasks and/or calendar so you can be reminded. It keeps up with your grades. It keeps up with your teachers/professors and their office number, telephone number, email address, and website. I only have Version 2.1 and I can do a great bit with it. There's a later version available so I imagine it's even better. I've been using it for a good while and I'm very happy with it. If you have any questions about using it let me know. I'll be glad to help. I don't think I'd even want to try the others just because I really like this one. I think it's worth it.
Valerie
