Jaggs
Hi Jaggs, Welcome to our forums!
Are you getting an error message? Usually, what causes this is an error in your settings under email setup
Make sure you aren't connected to the Internet and go to Accounts>Accounts and tap your Account name.
1. Is email set right? Yes? hit next
2. Is username listed as your email prefix? (i.e. jaggs NOTjaggs@mydomain.com)
3. Re-enter password
4. Hit next two times
5. server info: It is very important you have these two settings correct. Its usually something like popmail.mydomain.com & smtpmail.mydomain.com
that should do it...
Are you on your home internet? Some ISPs won't let you send mail from any ISP but your own, for spam purposes, however you can still download and read email from anywhere. (Just not send it)

The way around that is to configure a different connection profile for each location. In my case I only need 2 - one for my home and one for my cellphone GPRS connection. I can download and send email from just about anywhere. 8-)
Okay, explain to me how that works?
My ISP (Central Florida RoadRunner (cfl.rr.com)) Will only let me send email from a network that is going out through a cable modem that is operated by roadrunner (I'm not sure if it has to be central florida, but I wouldn't be surprised)
So when I go visit someone, and they have earthlink, I can't send emails or they will bounce because roadrunner doesn't let them onto its pop3 servers for spam prevention purposes (Nice, cause I don't get 1000's of bounces if someone uses my email to spam)
Are you saying you can get around this? (It would be nice for when I visit other people)
