Review: Conduits Pocket Player 2.52

'One of the great movements in the history of Pocket PCs has been the progression of multimedia content being available on the devices. Gone are the days of a Personal Information Manager (PIM) only device. They have been replaced with full featured, rich applications that allow for the playing of video and music in high fidelity.
Conduits Technologies has been involved in this aspect of Pocket PC life for several years and has taken a leading role with their application Pocket Player. Pocket Player, now in version 2.52, is full-featured audio applications that allows users to play a variety of audio formats. The application also includes a built-in equalizer, hardware button mapping, bookmarking and play list management. Pocket Player is one of the more established audio applications available for Pocket PC users and the maturity of the product shows straight away with its ease-of-use and flexibility. Any audiophile Pocket PC owner will love Pocket Player.'

A site that I am sort of new to is Clinton Fitch.com. I learned about it through USENET in the Microsoft.public.PocketPC newsgroup. He has posted a review of Conduits Pocket Player Version 2 52. Even though we know conduits pocket player is a good MP3 and music player, it's still fun to read a good review about it.

I have this player... It has a VERY annoying bug: even if you reduce the volume (or MUTE it) before you run the app, as soon as it starts it bumps the volume all the way to HIGH, so if you have head phones on, you better take them off first or be prepared to get blasted.
It was so annoying to me that I stopped using it after a couple of sound shocks to my ears.
Pocket Musis has been best for me so far - it's free too.

Here here, (Or is it hear hear) anyways, I concur, except for the annoying activation part, PocketMind's PocketMusic is a great mp3 player, and is free. (And is my favorite)

I had always thought pocket music cost to register. By looking at their site, I realize now that I was wrong. They sell a pocket music power bundle that cost $24.95. Yes that's a good player

Yeah, they certainly don't make it easy to get it free, but it can be done.
