Well considering that the guy who started this site, and maintains it at a LOSS, is a freaking software developer, I doubt it's looked upon favorably as a general rule. As far as this forum goes, it's not a warez forum. Perhaps you could cruise over to one of those to illegally trade software. This isn't the place for it. . .

Yeah well perhaps if you would just bother to find out if the software I have was legally purchased, then may be you wouldnt make yourself look like a total jackass. But since you didnt... oh well.
Jeez, the festive season is just over and goodwill to all men and peace on earth has been chucked out the window . Well there's a lesson to be learnt here: 'Don't go away for a week and leave the site unmoderated'. Doh!

Just to clarify the site policy (as I understand it!) is that freeware and links to shareware items can submitted for inclusion on to the 'Freeware' page.
However if the items you'd like to trade are subject to a software license agreement, then as stated previously the general clause within such agreement's prohibit the sale or transfer, on this or pretty much most other sites.
Generally speaking the forwarding sale, swapping/trading of software that is subject to a license agreement is also generally frowned on within this forum. However it is understood that some people may not be aware of this, so there is no problem with asking about such a subject.
The forum is generally a very welcoming place (which you hopefully noticed) so if you have any other reasonable questions, please feel free to post it.

I am welcoming. . . I guess I'm just overly sensitive about this subject b/c my company just got hit with some massive, amazingly outrageous fines for not keeping track of licensing. Thank goodness it wasn't my fault, but it does make one a heck of a lot more sensitive to the issue.
