Do I have to be online to use ActiveSync? When I put the unit in the cradle it will not sync unless I am on line, is this normal?
Also the contacts/address will not sync, do I have to use Outlook for this to happen?

Hi,
You don't necessarily have to be online, unless you connect to an Exchange server. If that link is down, then you won't be able to sync your Outlook items.
