I am in Opera browser fan and as such am looking forward to the Pocket PC version of this ultrafast and light weight browser. With that said, what might be equally exciting is a Mozilla version that would work on the Pocket PC! According to the blog of Tristor, there will soon be a Mozilla browser that works on the current Pocket PC line. "After speaking with one of the lead Minimo devs on Usenet, he confirmed that they are planning on releasing a version that will work with Windows PocketPC 2002+ sometime in the future. Currently, the only version available requires you to be running embedded linux on your pocketpc, and have a linux box available to build with. When the port to the PocketPC OS is made, it will (presumably) allow you to install it via Microsoft Activesync. I am hoping they release this very soon, and am checking in everyday to see about it, as I have an HP iPaq that is wanting for something other than IE for browsing the web. If you currently have a pocketpc device with an ARM compatible processor and are running embedded linux of some flavor, check out the Minimo project page for detailed build instructions, and a description of the project.
