Pocket PC Thoughts, uncovered a new freeware Today Screen weather application called weather to go. Looks to be a pretty good free add-on that might even look and perform better than some of the ones that cost money.
Any comments?
As I already own Journalbar and it is working nicely at the moment and looks good on the X50v, I'll just keep this one in mind but the first time JB stops updating again, I'm on it. Nice find! Looks good.
Wow. It's pretty nice! I present;y have PocketWeather, Journal Bar, and Stocks and Weather Today. It compares favorably in its looks with any of them. I think you have to manually tell it to get the weather each time, and only holds two cities, but I like it anyway. It has a nice, clean look. Good job!
I downloaded it and installed it and it works great.
I love the price!

I'm running the freeware version of PocketWeather. Does "Weather to Go" allow for custom weather icons?
Nope, but it's a very simple, quick and easy free weather bar that works very well for me. I'll check out the free PocketWeather and see which I like better.

Say it isn't so! I didn't think you liked today screen weather programs.
hehe, I don't.... but I like a plug-in that can automatically change its appearance and weather plug-ins seem to be the ones that do it often and easily. I'd prefer something that could rotate through a folder of images and change the display periodically, like TodaystheDay but without the need to stitch the images together.
