How do I turn off Pocket Informant alarms?

I have just updated my Rom on my iPAQ 4100 and consequently had to reinstall Pocket Informant. However now I have to manually turn off appointment alarms every time I add something. This is very frustrating. Previously alarms were off as the default, now they are on. I have gone through every menu and can't find out how to turn them off permanently.
I just know (hope) that someone out there will be able to set me straight on this. I have a 100% success rate with questions on this site. Keep up the good work everyone.

Go to options > calendar then scroll down to default reminder time and set it to "none"

Thanks for reply, but it turned off alarms all by itself. It must learn that when it is turned off everytime it remembers.
