I just DELETED my PI folder. . .

So last night, I was poking around trying to get rid of WISBAR, which had a deathgrip on my system. I just started going in and trying to find it in startup, and then deleted it there. I then went to File Explorer, and I accidentally hit WebIS, thinking that was WIS. . Arrgh!
So I deleted Pocket Informant. What the?
How do I get it back without losing anything?
Thanks,
B

You should not have lost anything. Reinstall the Pocket Informant program and all your databases will be there. If you lost the serial you can still use the built in calander, contacts, etc without losing all the PI data too

Unless you've synced since, it should be on the desktop still (assuming you are talking about the folder in My Documents.
DON'T sync, then copy the folder out of the synced files folder on the desktop, sync, then copy it back and sync again. That should restore it.
If it's any other WebIS folder, a re-instal should get everything back how it was.

You didn't have to remove the Webis folder, that just contains icon data. The only saved information you need is in the databases, and well... there's really no way to 'erase' that unless you get a program to do it

The point is, he didn't WANT to remove PI, he wanted it back!
The WebIS folder contains a lot more than just the icons. It also contains the settings file, custom views, backups etc etc etc.

Hey Mark! Haven't seen you around these parts in awhile! Hope you are well.
I had a PI question maybe you could help me solve. When I use the New button on the today screen to create a PI task, appt. or whatever, it does nothing. It never goes anywhere, it's as if I never clicked the button at all.
Any ideas?

Hey, no sweat. I reinstalled it and it appears to be working now.
THanks for looking though.
