Just stumbled upon Pockster, which is supposed to be the first wireless personal web server for the PocketPC that advertises itself to other Pocket PCs in the neighborhood using WiFi networks. If it works as advertised, you can stream music from an iPOD via your Pocket PC to computers in the vicinity. "As far as content is concerned, Pocketster is simply a web server. So you can create content for it in your favorite HTML editor. Please note however that only JPG and GIF images are supported, and only MP3 files can be streamed.
The root directory of your Pocketster Web Server is located on your Pocket PC at \Program files\Pocketster\wwwroot\. You can upload files there using ActiveSync. Just right click on the ActiveSync icon, select "Explore" and browse to \Program files\Pocketster\wwwroot\ and upload your new content. If you want you can take a look at the example index.html under \Program files\Pocketster\wwwroot\, it shows you how to include an image, an MP3 file and a Flash movie"
