Synchronizing from Flash Memory

Now that I have my new MyPal A716, I was trying to set it up in the event I get stupid and let the battery run down I won't lose my data. Is it possible to put files on the "Flash Disk" and still have them sync via ActiveSync? I feel like I'm just not connecting the dots . . . perhaps the excitement from the new PPC.

I'm not sure about the newer ones, but my pocket PC screams bloody murder if the battery drops below 40%, and I assume even if I ran it dead, it would still be able to keep the memory up for a while.

By the way, there are backup solutions that backup both built in memory and storage card, if that would help?
