GpsGate: GPS "Sharing" App for Pocket PC

franson writes: "GpsGate is the answer if you want to run multiple GPS applications at the same time on your Pocket PC.
Share - GpsGate lets you share one GPS between several applications. GpsGate can create any number of virtual serial ports which most NMEA enabled GPS applications can connect to.
Simulator - Define a set of waypoints and GpsGate will simulate a GPS travelling between those waypoints.
Logger - Log and playback real time GPS data. Save real time scenarios to be used for analysis, demonstration or development back in the office."

I can't think of an instance where you would want / need multiple GPS applications running. Can you give me an example?

This was my initial reaction too. Maybe it has utility in hiking GPS settings that I'm missing. Oh I know, maybe in wardriving settings where you want to note the coords of an open network.

Maybe a configuration utility and something else? Logging? Two favorite mapping programs? Maybe map and WiFi sniffer?
I like the above answer best though

As much as I would love to run my gps config tool, delorme mobile, and netstumbler at the same time, I'm not sure it's worth $30 unless you needed to do something like that for your work...
Maybe I'm just cheap
