This was my initial reaction too. Maybe it has utility in hiking GPS settings that I'm missing. Oh I know, maybe in wardriving settings where you want to note the coords of an open network.

Maybe a configuration utility and something else? Logging? Two favorite mapping programs? Maybe map and WiFi sniffer?

As much as I would love to run my gps config tool, delorme mobile, and netstumbler at the same time, I'm not sure it's worth $30 unless you needed to do something like that for your work...
Maybe I'm just cheap
