My e750 for the past few months has been locking up and will not power on. Just every once in a while, but seems to be getting progressively worse.
If I remove the battery for an extended time (12-20 hours) it sometimes powers on but more often it loads the BIOS and then just turns to a gray screen.
I've sent it back to Toshiba three times to fix the problem. When I get it back it seems to work fine, but I can't use it without adding some (way too many) programs. I don't know if it is the hardware or something I have installed.
I would imagine that leaving off the battery or flipping the little power switch on the bottom should restore it to its original state. Does anyone know anything different?
Even with the quick service this is getting old.
Well, One time I had an issue with my iPAQ 2215 that a hard reset would not fix. I could hard reset it and sync one time and it would freeze, sometimes after hard resetting it wouldn't turn on, etc. I sent it back and they replaced the board and it has worked well ever since.
If you hard reset the device and it misbehaves without any programs installed, I would suggest you have a hardware problem.
