Freeware Today Weather

PPCTools is featuring a freeware Today Screen plugin that displays the weather on the Today Screen. Today Weather is totally configurable, looks really nice, works on devices running PC2002, WM2003, and WM2003SE. It works perfectly in portrait and landscape VGA, too!
Great free program- one of the best quality freeware programs I've seen in a while. Highly recommended.

Great find!
But I gotta ask. Why on earth are so many people hopped up on havng the weather forecast on their PPC? Gee-whiz factor is good for about 30 seconds... I just don't get it.

I thought so too but once it's there you use it all the time. It's actually useful to see what the forecast is for the next couple of days.

It's especially cool if you do any kind of traveling on a regular basis. Having the weather for your selected cities right on your Today screen makes planning activities and itineraries so much easier.
My only gripe about the program is that in VGA the text was way too small and "shimmered" as if it were interlaced. I guess I can talk more about it once I get my PPC working again.

i work in advertising and often have outdoor shoots. it's nice to have an idea of upcoming weather in the palm (or ppc as the case may be) of my hand. also, as mentioned by another poster, when traveling it's mighty handy.

I have installed this program on my iPAQ 4150. It is highly configurable and looks nice too. This is impressive freeware.
I congratulate SBSH Mobile Software.
