Activesync 3.7.1

Just got my 3975. I loaded activesync. Seems to work but when I remove the IPAQ from the cradel I get a box that keeps coming up that says
"Connect to
USB
Status: Connecting to Host."
Help, how do I get rid of this message?
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott, when is the last time you soft reset your device? You may need to do that. Also, has it completed syncing before you disconnect it?

Brad,
I've tried a soft re-set.
Do I need to something on the PC prior to removing the IPAQ from the cradle?
Thanks,
Scott

I am not sure what you mean by on the PC...
But are you running any firewall software like Zonealarm? You might want to try disabling that and docking/undocking your ipaq again. if that doesn't work, try disabling your virus protection.

Brad,
I am talking about Activesync running on my work PC, the one the cradle is pluged into. I don't think it is any software running on our network as a few others have IPACs and are not having the problem.
I was wondering if I need to select anything in the activesync program prior to removing the IPAC from the cradle.
Thanks,
Scott
