I've got an old clunker of a PPC (I just upgraded to a PPC Phone) and I want to know where is the best place to send the old standby? I searched the web, but there's nothing specific to PPCs and where to recycle them. Thanks!! - Sal
I have not heard of a recycling option for these devices. Maybe the market is too small for them. People usually keep it as a backup, sell it on eBay or just throw it out.

You can ask best buy, your wireless provider, or call your local waste management company. I think a lot of them now a days have electronic recycling programs. To be honest though, a lot of these businesses simply send the electronics to be striped of components to China. I've seen a documentary of Chinese kids working for dirt cheap and getting lead and mercury poisoning. To be socially conscious, if your going to recycle make sure it doesn't just get shipped to China!
