Listen to MP3s on your iPAQ? Want better sound from your music? Of couse you do!
After seeing this question posted a few times recently, I thought it would be cool to have a little 30-second tutorial done up so it would always be easy to Access. People new to their iPAQ may not know about this setting, and after hard resetting my iPAQ it is one of those things I always forget to set.
There is a Bass boost and Treble adjustment built into the latest iPAQs that can provide a very noticable improvement to your MP3 sound playback. And the good news is it's easy to get to!
First go to your Start Menu and choose Settings. Under the system tab there is a little applet called iPAQ Audio.
Simply launch that program and make the fine adjustments for your music pleasure. The picture below shows what I find are my optimal settings. If you find your "Sweet spot" please let us know so we can try them too! .
Any comments?
(Just like Elaine on Sienfeld....I would give you a big push right about now!) Get outta here!
I never knew about this setting! I can't believe I've been listening to music all this time on my Ipaq and never even looked in here!
Thank you! Well whatta ya know....you learn something new everyday!

You are welcome! I think the icon is what throws people. The microphone really doesn't do the setting justice. Many of us don't really care all that much about our microphone settings anyway.
