Tools for building Pocket PC Flash applications

I'm the first to admit that I am graphically and animation-ally (is that a word?) challenged The last time I tried to build a flash animation, I was working through the "spin an object" tutorial. Sure I could get the little Ying-Yang symbol to move right and left and up and down, but to get it to spin was enough to grant me a rather large headache. Not to mention, the whole ordeal resulted in a vow to never try anything artistic again .
Well, ZDNet Uk is at least trying to make things easier for people like me by posting some flash tutorials themselves. Today's feature discusses how we can Find out more about the tools used to create more advanced Flash applications for Pocket PC.
Shared objects are used in many Flash applications. Flash isn't allowed much interaction with the client's computer; there's no built-in method for creating text files, though existing ones can be read. The primary option for storing user data is to store it remotely but if the client isn't connected to the Internet that option isn't always available. If that's the case, then store the data in the only local vehicle available for client storage data: shared objects.
Will this convince me that I should try to program some Flash again? Probably not - but it's fun to think about. How about you? Will you delve into Flash coding?
