Speaking of Calligrapher (my prior posting) Pocket PC Thoughts has posted a review of one of Calligrapher's sister apps PhatPad. PhatPad is marketed as an advanced notes organizer for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs. It allows you to draw pictures, jot text notes, or put a mix of pictures and typed text on a virtual scratch pad. The program utilizes new digital ink technology which provides a very smooth ink flow, so it feels like you're writing on the piece of paper. However, the review points out that it's really a bit more than that. PhatPad from PhatWare Corporation is on the face of it a simple note taking tool along the lines of the built-in Notes application. However, on closer examination it has enough additional features and usability enhancements to make it a far more useful application. I looked at version 1.1.
I've been looking for software to help with my notes. I may have to try Phatpad out but I found a freeware product that I just downloaded called Stickies
I'm still playing around with it and haven't had a real world need to use it...(just downloaded it) .... But it allows you to create Post it Notes on the PPC and they stick up on my laptop until I tell it to go away...

Sounds abit like my girlfriend when I'm saving the universe on the last game. She tends to stick around too until I tell her to 'sod off'! Only not as useful.
