Play the Horses From Your Pocket PC

If I were a betting man, I might very well want to take advantage of some of Internet gambling services being offered. But even though I have an Irish heritage, I'm not very lucky In fact, I'd say the term "unlucky in cards..." is my life story As such, the other day, AmericaTab announced they were Launching a Wireless Wagering Service that is compatible with Pocket PC. So if you are one of the big shots who plays the horses, it might be right up your alley.
"This is a good partnership in that the platform has been in development for years," AmericaTab managing member Charlie Ruma said. "We think our customers will find that it is as easy to use as our personal computer service. Our partners in Oregon have built the most comprehensive platform that is compatible with our navigation and features. The maturity of this system will elevate us as a leader in this technology.
Any big time gamblers visiting today? Give us some hints on improving our odds!

Hmmm...I'm not too crazy about this...

I've been using the internet since the (I'm guessing here) mid 90's and On Line Betting is the one thing that I hope DOESN'T take off.
Don't get me wrong, I will make trips to Atlantic City every couple of years and I play poker with "the guys" (Texas Hold 'em) every once in a while. but.....
I find the whole online gaming industry to be sleazy. I get a mental picture of teenagers stealing Mom or Dad's credit card and getting addicted. I've never tried Online gaming and I don't plan on it either. I guess it's the whole idea of the access being to easy for an addictive habit. And it makes the whole gambling scene appear to be like a video game rather than spending real hard earned money.
Just an opinion.
