removing program from xda mini s please

Hi, I installed some of the great downloads from this site, but inh some cases decided that I would not make use of some. When I delete the program it does not remove it from the program files or the today list. Where do I find the residue of these programs to clear them. In most cases I loaded the cab. file to my storage card & that has been cleared & I cannot find any record of them on the ppc except where I can't clear the titles. In the today menu it says check the programs you do not want listed myppc does the opposite.
I would appreciate any help please

Have you soft reset after removing the programs?
