The iPhone Theme for Pocket PC

Any other users of the iPhone theme for Pocket PC?
It is a really cool theme once you fix all the specs.

At first once you download the theme you must save it on your computer desktop.

Then you must move the file from your desktop to your mobile device using activesync 4.0 or higher.

After that, you must go into your Pocket PC and go to where you saved that folder, best place would be to go to File Explorer and place it with your music folder and pictures, videos, etc.

Name it whatever you want so you remember it.

Then tap it and you will see Re's Launcher, and source, ignore sorce, tap on Re's Launcher. You may see another folder called GFX don't worry about that, it's just all the icons and such. There is a setup wizard for Launcher and Slide, click on launcher first. The pocket PC will ask you if you want to download it, tap yes, and you will then see your PC has turned into an iPhone wannabe.

This is where it gets a little funky, you may see that your contacts, calender, start menu, is not there, and the time is wrong.

That is a downfall, program certain buttons to pull up programs that you would use everyday from the start menu, that will rid of that problem.

Now how do we get to the screen where you program the buttons?

Well how I do it is, tapping the icon that says text.

Then you can tap where it says Text Messages, and there is your start screen.

Go to settings, and tap buttons, here you can program the buttons from on your P-PC and then you can exit.

Of course a lot of us do not have "stocks" or look up "weather" or "maps" or any of the other useless icons.

So what to do.

(I'm sorry it's a long process but it works like a charm when it's done)

On your computer where you saved the setup file, double click that, and open where it says config.

This is the configuration for the icons on your "iPhonePC"
Move that window aside, then, with your Pocket PC still connected, click on explore, (in the activesync window) double click mobile device, and double click windows, this will show all the different programs that your "iPhonePC" can run. Whatever the name should be, such as "wmplayer" for windows media player, type that into (where you opened up config for your iPhonePC) in replace of the program to open the iPod. then put ".exe"

So now on your iPhonePC when you click the iPod icon it will take you to your windows media player.

Do this for the different programs on your iPhonePC to make each icon to go to the program you wish it to take you.

I did this all yesterday in about 2 hours, but it only took that long because I had to figure out HOW to do it. So enjoy. You can find that theme in the search bar.

For the time, the minutes are right you just have to tap on the clock icon and adjust the time 8 or 9 hours up and switch the AM/PM symbol, it may be 10 hours difference but fool around with it until it's right. (Alarms work the same way)

works great on my wm6 8525! except that slide to open got glitchy after installing htc touchflo.. nateshuntsvegas, what version do you have? cuz in this one u can change pathways of the software itself, but not the icons...

the theme is great and all but i just started using wisbar desktop advance and it was easy to use and made somthing simular but more better looking than the iphone theme with the slider and icontacts so heres something to try

Try this like like an Iphone skin but better and ezier 2 use. Also has a slide2unlock program built in. And can b fully customized w/many different icons. and mutiple screens. and u move from one screen 2 the next by sliding your finger.

i need help i have got the theme and i found all my programs but i dont know how to write them in on the config page i do it and it always erases them and when i do i got to save and it wont do it.... i have a tmobile wing so i dont know if it might be different for that

its because it wants to save as a word doc. dont let it save it as a note you wont have any issues if u save as note, when it ask to save as a word select "no".

hit the red end call button or just connect your phone to ur computer and erase it

I have a question...how do I keep my phone from going back to the 'Today' screen when I exit out of a program. I would rather have it go back to the 'iphone' theme but for some reason I keep losing it... What am I doing wrong here??

Aye Josh just ah few questions,

1) What about the Slide set up wizard do you use this in the process.

2) for the long process of updating the Config. file can you pass on your file plzzz. the process is really long. I have an 8125 mobile.

okay, so i have a xv6600 for verizon, and it like had to restart my phone a couple times, but i got it working now

but my question is how do you get the slider to work when u just press the sleep button, and how do u get the sliding contacts like the iphone??
