Hi, I have just bought an HTC touch and downloaded Activesync 4.5. The problem I have is that when I dock the device it only recognizes the new device as a guest. I’ve tried reinstalling activesync and have looked at all of the obvious settings however all of the device settings on activesync are grayed out. Can anyone help me????
try disabling your firewall, also make sure you have outlook and various other syncing programs with correct settings.
Also make sure you turn off both devices before a reconnect.

Also I can now unlock the GPS chip in the 8925 and install GPS software with maps as well
