touble with t9 feature on my 8125

hey
was wondering if anybody can help me take the t9/abc functions off on my fone... it is an att/cingular 8125...it has gotten way to confusing for me to type up text messages... thnxsz in advance

Are you talking about smart dialing? If so, just go to options|smart dialing and disable.

Sorry, I meant to specify that you need to be on your phone (dialpad) screen and then go to Mene|options
