.NET compact framework?

I have a 8125 and I can't get any new games to work because I "require newer verson of Microsoft .NET compact framework".
So I thought "No Problem" went to the Micro sight and downloaded vers 2.0 to a temp file using active stink... I can't open it !
What do I have to do to upgrade from version 1.0 (I think that is what I have, I don't know) to version 2.0?

Not something you need to install on your device just your computer, when you activesync to install programs it will do what it needs to.

You can install only the WM components directly to your device using the appropriate .cab installer. You can find the download link in the Freecabs.de archive. The WM-only download is significantly smaller than the entire .NET CF package.
