I have 2 problems, 1 I am trying to change the ring tones on my phone and add ring tones to it. Does anyone know how to do this and could give me a step by step process.
2, Does anyone know how to connect your lap top to your HTC touch and connect to the internet through the Sprint network that I have on my plan for unlimited internet access. Any step by step's would be appreciated. thanks
This is from the HTC Touch Users Guide that Sprint has in its web page, here you have the Modem thing:
10.6 Using Your Device as a Modem (Internet Sharing) Internet Sharing connects your PC or notebook computer to the Internet by using your device ’s data connection.
You can choose to connect via USB or Bluetooth. Note: Sprint requires customers to have a separate Phone As Modem service plan in order to use this device
as a modem.More information about Phone As Modem service plans are available at Welcome to Sprint - Cell Phones, Mobile Phones, Plans for Personal and Business Wireless,
or you can contact Sprint Customer Service to add the Phone as Modem service plan to your account. Follow the procedure below to set up your device as a USB modem. To learn how to set up your device as a
Bluetooth modem, see "To use your device as a Bluetooth modem." Notes: Make sure you have subscribed to a Phone As Modem Service plan and have set up a phone dial-up
modem connection on your device. If your device has not been set up with a data connection yet,tap Menu >Connection Settings on the Internet Sharing screen.
If you want to use a USB Sync cable connection, you must .rst install Microsoft ActiveSync version 4.5
or later on the computer.
If you want to use a Bluetooth connection, make sure your computer has built-in Bluetooth capability.
If your computer does not have Bluetooth, you can connect and use a Bluetooth adapter or dongle on
your computer.
Before using Internet Sharing, disable ActiveSync on your computer. To set up your device as a USB modem:
1.On your device, tap Start >Programs >Internet Sharing . 2.In the PC Connection list, select USB . 3.In the Network Connection list, select the name of the connection that your device uses to connect to
the Internet. 4.Plug in the USB Sync cable between your device and the computer. 5.Tap Connect . 1.2.3.
As for the ringtones part of your question, there's a site I use pretty often called phonezoo.com. Ringtones are free, I believe, because they are all user created. Anyway, I would suggest you download to your memory card, rather than putting them in device memory. Once you do that, go to your Sounds & Notifications icon, Notifications tab, from there you can associate which sound you want with which function. To associate ringtones with a particular caller, you'll go in through Contacts (pOutlook), find the contact you want to work with, go to "menu," then edit. You see a field for ring tone, click on that and then browse to your desired ring tone.
Im using a 700WX, not a Touch, but I'm assuming (probably a bad idea) that these instructions will be the same for any WM device. If this doesn't work for you, I would seek out someone with that device.

I was wondering if any of you come across this issue?
When receiving sms, the entire sms screen goes blank. I can't read even I want to reply, forward or to create new sms. Everytime this happens, I will reformat my entire device.
Try This
Have the HTC Dual Touch. Just drag and drop the files you want to use as ringtones into the "My Ringtones" folder on your phone via ActiveSync. The files will be converted and available as ringtones.
