i just purchased a refurbished cingular 8125, has anyone done the same? is it worth the risk? they onyl give u a 90day warranty now as apposed to buying the 8525 for $300 and getting a 1 year warranty. HAve the refurbished ones been defective? is it safe to go with?
I have had one for a year and the only issue is with the earphone jack...its a smaller version than a regular headset....radio shack sells an adaptor for $8. I have dropped it a couple of times and the jack has issues but no problems with the actual phone or pda. Works well.
