Thank you nate for getting back so fast. You are the super mod. . Ur tweaks are fab.

I have been to your vhd at 4share and it is nice inthere. My question would be to do just as you are doing and created a 1 file down load that will include several programs like, HTC home, clauncher, pmcontacts and a few games, but games are easy. Thanks alot. Also a phone dialer to match the themes.

Newbee with questions

I am a fairly new user with my 8525 and have some questions.

1. About every 2 days when I go to internet explorer a website will not open. If I turn the phone off and then on it resolves the problem. Any idea on why this happens?

2. My phone says I am low on memory. The only program I have ever downloaded to my phone is Google Maps and I have taken a couple of photos. Any idea on how I can clean up my files or what files I can delete to clear some space?

Thanks

I have found in your file explorer, under windows/profiles/ you will find 4 files with weird names they hold many files taking up your memory. delete al but desktop, you can't delete it.
as for the weird ie problem, I have no clue. hope the memory thing works.

Under profiles I see a folder called guest and in there I see cookies, temporary internet files and history. I deleted files from there except for "desktop". I didnt see the 4 weird files you mentioned.

i am getting a new computer but don't have an extra wifi router for it. I was wondering how you would use your phone as a router for your computer. I have a cingular 8125 and any help would be greatly appreciated.

as far as i knw there is only two ways to do so, the first isto tell cingular that you want to tether the device and im not sure exactly how it works that way but i imagine they charge u extra a month and then give u the software.

or u put a custom version of wm6 on the device and it becomes an option under programs called internet sharing. if u want to install wm6 but still having issues or questions just post them in my thread and i will walk u through it. the first step is to figure out if its a g3 or g4.

hi all!
I see that most of new users have problem using 8125 with WiFi, to be able to utilize free Inet (not paying extra to ATT). I've got same issue. How to set up free WiFi?
Please Help...

p.s.
1. i try to connect to my router..
2. when i try to launch explorer, it sends me to settings...

ok.. i think i did figure it out
i was able to connect to a free wifi, but i still cannot connect to my own
it's asking for username, password, and for server number... where should i find it?

The 8125 has active sync but you're saying the 4.5 download is for the PC?
Just noticed my new laptop has Vista which uses Windows Mobile Devise Center instead of Activesync.
Any ideas for me?

Question Follow Up

Is the starter pack available?

I am working on a pocket pc starter pack that will include various softwares, themes and skins for the actual phone pad. Once I actually figure out how to upload it onto the internet. I might put it on freewarepocketpc.net.
It will be in a Zip file. I will put a link up.

there are some things that need active sync to install to the device. And ive only tested the available programs on a htc wizard device. So if you use any other device it might not work and if they do then they work. Anyway i will put a link up within the next week. Next friday at best.
