ok i disabled all the medianet connections.i know for a fact my wifi works but when i try to connect i get this message"cannont connect uder this setting"what the hell do i gotta do?ive used the search function tried d/ling all this stuff an nothing work..now right at this moment i had my phone charging an it wont turn on at all!i took the battery out put it back in nothing!could i have gottin a virus?ive only d/led programs from this site..
Cingular has locked out the WIFI function on your device making you have to go through media net to connect to a WIFI connection. They do this so that you have to be on a data plan to use WIFI. The only way I know around this is to either put a custom rom on your device or a rom from O2, I-Mate, or HTC. If your interested in doing so you will have to cid unlock your device and you can follow how to do that here.
