WiFi network notification

I have the Cingular\Att&T 8525, and it's got WiFi. I'm constantly getting notifications that the same couple of Wi-Fi networks are detected. If I select "Don't show this message again", will it turn off that notification all together or just for that one network?

I believe it will cancel out future messages too. Ive had mine now for a year and I got that message when I first got the phone. And I told it go away and it never came back until I just hard reset the phone and today I got the message again....(but after total wipe out)

Let me know if this helps

I finally just decided to try it. I was hoping it would just cancel the notification for that one network, but what it seems to be doing is just not making the alarm sound and activating the phone when it detects a network, but if I happen to have the phone active it shows a message.

Now that I've told it to "dismiss all", I don't know how to go back and make it work the way it did before, so I guess I'll live with it the way it is.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ok if you want to get it back the way it was is go to settings> sounds & notifications> tab at the bottom notifications
You will notice Event: select the drop down menu
select: wireless network detection
now you can select how to be notified by playing sound, display message on screen, flash light for, or vibrate

well hope this helps

Cool - thanks for the info. I just wish there was a way to turn it off for a particular network.
