I got one today, i'm definitely loving it. But a few things i'd like to know.
In the manual it says the Windows media player handles all those well known fileformats such as WMV and AVI, etc. So i plugged the HTC to my laptop and i drag and dropped a WMV and AVI file on the mem stick (this took A long ass time to copy by the way) when it was done...in the HTC i went to explorer and i choose the WMV and AVI...but with both files i received errors about it not being able to play them. What am i doing wrong?
Is there a way to put a custom picture as the main menu instead of the HTC default and the other ones already on it?
you just need to find and download the avialable codecs for wmp heres a step in the right direction i lost the site where they had them. but can be downloaded via microsoft download center ur just going to have to hunt for them. if you find them b4 i do please post a link so i can add them to this server for others.

One AVI file used an Xvid codec...so i tried downloading a Xvid codec using the HTC, but it said i needed a mobile version of it.NO idea where to find it.
Another thing.....where do i find that program/addon for a much bigger and thus easier to use keyboard?(for the fingers to use,not stylus)
heres a spb for $10 if you feel like you need it. do a few google searches for the codecs and use keywords together like touch, xda developers, codecs, windows mobile media player, ppc just do some googling youll find it. then add a post please.

Yes all you have to do is put a picture on your phone and then find it in file explorer then highlight it until a menu pops up and it will give you an option to use it as a today picture.
Oh yeah tcpmp is good stuff I uploaded it the other day but thought you were trying to use windows media player, but glad you were able to get it up and running.
