On my cingular 8125 there are two buttons located above the "talk" and "end" buttons on the front, one of them is linked to bring up "contacts" and the other is "calendar".
i want to change the "calendar" button since I keep my calendar showing on the Today screen.
When I go to "Settings/Personal Tab/Buttons" it lists every other button (Messaging, Internet, Voice tag, Camera, etc) but not the two soft keys on the front of the phone.
There are several third party applications that can do this such as iLauncher (SBSH Mobile Software - Making smaller bigger) and SK Tools (SKKV Software). I assume since these programs (and others) can modify the soft keys you can probably manually do so in the registry, but I not know the keys to modify. You could try a generic search for this.
