Why does Cingular think they can and do charge me if I use my 8125 to access my ISP through my WIFI? Through trying to iron out a related issue I have talked to 6 different people at cingular including 2 high level supervisors, and they all tell me if I access the internet on my phone (GPRS, EDGE or WIFI) I will get charged. I told all of them they are WRONG. I access my Comcast ISP through my personal WIFI all the time with no charges from Cingular. Thay told me they will look into why I am not being charged for that.
i was told by cingular that if i access the internet through my own wireless router, and make sure you disable cingular, that i will not get charged because i am not using their network. that is what they told me, even tho it doesnt matter since i got the unlimited plan since its just so much easier not to worry about it...good luck with all that
