Hi Everyone, my first post, figured i'd make it a good one.
for starters i have a PPC6700, alltel edition, had the service for all of about 45 minutes, ended up buying the phone outright and cancelling the phone service. Since then, ive managed to redo a few things and instaleld Skype Mobile, and instead of the phone software, it uses my SkypeIN/OUT account. Gotta Love That!.... something im curious about is this....
is the alltel 6700 and the sprint 6700 the same thing, i mean as far as firmwares go, could this be updated with a firmware that spcs compatible?
i would really rather prefer a regular copy of windows mobile 5 without the phone crap in there. my 6700 is an amazing tool for work, i absolutely love it, just need to find a way to make it more "my own" instead of all the alltel crap all over it.
Any ideas out there? how can i get the latest firmware for the phone itself, how can i update this thing, what more can i do with it...
