I know this subject has been beaten to death. However I have only seen one other person with the same problem that I have and there was no answer. I have been trying to connect to my wireless at home using wi-fi. I have followed most of the advice that I have seen and still see no change. I have deleted the GRPS and called cingular to completely disconnect the data plan so that I cannot accidentally get changed for it.
My Problem. going into the network cards I can see the different wireless networks. However when I try to connect I get the error - "Cannot log on to the wireless network. The network requires a personal certificate to positively identify you." That seems to be the only thing blocking me from the internet. I have searched and search and have not come up with an answer yet. If anyone has any idea how to help I would greatly appreciate it.
This will disable certificate checking, so you can accept self-signed certificates. It slightly lessens security, but not much. It worked for me with my 8125.
