I used Vista before and I remember it supporting ActiveSync...or was it Windows Mobile Center? Have you tried installing ActiveSync from the MS website as a test?

Windows Mobile Device Centre is the replacement for Activesync when you are using the Vista OS. Download WMDC and follow the setup process as you would for syncronising a pda on Activesync. Activesync is not supported in Vista at all.

There are a number of problems with the loading of programs that have been discussed on this forum and a number of others if you would like to search for them under "software".

Kaintcme I would also suggest that if you want support from senior/experienced members, I would watch the language used "wtf" is not appropriate, or necessary, in a forum which I'm sure that not only my children read.
