When my phone (HTC P3600, Windows Mobile 5) makes a connection to the Internet via GPRS or 3G, it displays a connecting message but no user input is required. Does anyone know of any software (or configuration settings) to make it ask permission to connect? So that I have to select ok before it connects?

There is a newly released freeware program that is quite flexible and does what you require. You can find it here.
