Okay, so I just upgraded to a Cingular 8125 and finally quit using my Dell Axim X5. So far I love my Cingular 8125. I am having a problem loading my music, however.
I have a Sony PSP which I have downloaded music from the Sony Connect website and paid for the music. When I loaded my music into my music folder and synced with ActiveSync, I keep getting errors that I need to download a license for each song to listen to the music on my Cingular.
Can anyone help me so I can listen to my music on my Cingular 8125? I do have a 1G mini sd storage card that the music is currently stored on.
Since you bought them from the Sony website, they have a Sony license on them which means you probably won't be able to use those songs on a device other than your PSP or other Sony products. I'm pretty sure that is how it works. It similar to the fact that if you buy songs from iTunes, you can't put them on any other mp3 player.
I have a cingular 8525 and I had similar problems with itunes and yahoo music. The only download mp3 site that will work with my 8525 is Napster. It should work with your 8125, they are similar. I hate the whole "drm" thing. If I buy music, they should let me play it on what I want!
