i'm having big problem on my audiovox 6700..pls help.

hello to all, can you please help me coz my ppc6700 has problem on re booting. it all started when i recieve a text meassage then it stops functioning. then i reset it and its not rebooting anymore. it stop to windows mobile. i tried 3 modes of resetting and i couldn't retieve it anymore. what else can you suggest? i'm really enjoying this full functional gadget. please help me...

There is a known problem where the "data" access ID gets reset and can't be changed back to your ID. I had to have my PPC-6700 replaced because of this. After surfing the Web it just stopped accessing. The Telus Tech support (data guys couldn't reset it, so issued me a work ticket and I brought it in to the dealer and swapped it out for another of the same.

thanks. samething. the seller offered me an exchange of the same unit. and i think this is one of the major problem. is this a factory defect or it just happen normally. what do you think is the cause? too much downloading?

I also had some trouble with it and it seems like it is a generic problem in this brand. I hope it will not happen to you again. I was able to find a solution for some of my problem with the help of a tech support site. They have live chat support that you can use for free.

Are you saying that after browsing pages, it would stop browsing, and you'd have to turn it off then back on? Or yours just completely stopped browsing? I have a problem with mine, where after about 5 minutes of browsing, it just disconnects. Kinda frustrating, but even Verizon couldnt figure it out
