How to disable "wake-up" on alarms in Windows Mobile

I need to disable the "wake-up" function on my Pocket PC, so that the device doesn't turn on when alarms are due.

I've been having trouble for months with the battery unexpectedly going dead. It'll be on full charge and fine for days on end, and I'll come back the next day and the battery will be completely dead. Finally figured out today that that's due to alarms turning the device on when I'm not around.

So, how do I make it so that the Pocket PC ignores alarms? (They are downloaded automatically from Outlook, and I like to have them as calendar entries on my Pocket PC, but I just don't want them turning the device on.)

Any clues? Thank you very much.
