Just wanted to know if there is a way to use my tmobile mda as a phoneline for my laptop. My job requires me to monitor an hvac controls program everyday and it is a dialup only program. I use the program to troubleshoot units and it would be nice to bring the laptop on the roof with me instead of climbing down everytime i disable a point. Anyone? Thanks.
Your device should have this feature already. It's called Wireless Modem. If you cannot find it, most likely it was removed on T-Mobile's request. If it's there, just connect throught USB and follow the instructions.
In case it was removed, you can still purchase pdanet (About $30) and a trial is available. It really works. Simply install the application on your laptop and device and the dialup process will start automatically. Hope this helps.

I have yhe modem link and it works fine as an internet source, but what I need is for my device to be able to dial out to my monitor program. I was wondering if it could be used as a phone line for my laptop modem dialer.
