Hey there question on Text messaging. I just got an 8125, had the unlimited data plan, SMS worked fine no problems, now I switched to a lower rate data plan, and my text messaging stopped working. Any ideas what could be going on. I don't think I changed any settings on the phone. Anyone else having problems?

I have somewhat of the same problem, and have my own post about this. Apparently, not many people have either had this problem, or know anything about it. I'll keep you posted if I learn anything, if you will do likewise.
Edit: Hard booting did nothing to change mine, and only resulted in me spending over an hour re-loading my programs back into the phone.
Will do, I even went onto my account signed up for a text package, that worked fine, took it off the account.......guess what...no texts! But I did receive a text from Cingular tonight about my rebate!?!?! But no text's from anyone else, anyone who matters anyhow. I will let you know if I find anything out as well.
hey guys not sure if you found an answer yet, but it seems to me you had the data plan with texts included and when you change the plan you get rid of texts, in your account on cingular.com there should be the available text plans and there are the pay per texts or the bundled ones. so what I guess i'm trying to say is if you switched to a data plan without texts you need to enable pay per text or the one of the text plans.
