Ok techies, I need a little insight because this one has me scratching my head! I have the 8525 and and thought I was transfering my mp3 tones to the "mydevice/windows/rings" folder correctly. At first it appears as though the transfer was successful. I can see the file is there. Then when I go to select that ringtone.....IT IS TOTALLY GONE. At one point I thought to myself that I really need to lay off the wine, so I checked again in different file locations and still nothing.
