my brother has a TyTn that suddenly stopped detecting any SIM card we put in it; he gets an error that says "NO GSM" . Hes tried flashing to the latest rom, several hard resets, and numerous sims cards.
prior to this situation, he noticed that it kept freezing even when nothing was running in the task manager (and my brother only had the apps that came with the tytn).
any tips??

I had several problems with my first 8525 and the Cingular stores in the area were out of the PPC. I had no options. I went to HTC and they said they would overnight me a new HTC if I send them my old one. I would tell your brother to email HTC and get a Support rep on his side. Just a thought....they were nice to me!
