I have Cingular 8125 I would like to know if connected to my Laptop / PC via active sync can I browse the Internet using the active sync connection (ie. my home network) .
How can I tell that I am not using the Cingular MediaNet etc - I have no plan with MediaNet only a Voive plan.
When connected vai Active sync (USB) can i browse to a site on my PC/Laptop that is running on my PC/Laptop in IIS
I have tried to do thsi http://mymachine/MobileTest/Default.aspx
But I get the Cannot Connect message and to go to settings and change the connection.
I thought if I am connected to my PC/Laptop via USB I can browse to a local site using the network i have on my PC/Laptop - is this true?
