I need some help with my 8125

I just got a cingular 8125 and when I go to comm manager screen to turn the wifi on. I click on the tower that has a X on it. It acts like its turning on then the X pops back up. Does anyone know what I need to do to get wifi turned on.

Check to make sure you have the latest rom. I had that problem and updating my rom and a hard reset did the trick.

ksanders, if you have a card reader you could format the sd card and see if it works after that.

Dialing issues

I am living in Mexico and the company that I am working for has implemented a VPN solution for mobiles, but the way to dial phone numbers has changed we have like short cuts for making call outside the company using the private network and avoiding Long distance calls but I am wondering if someone knows about any functionality that makes this possible without entering the numbers one by one,
i.e. USA
30899/ tone/ 800 00 + 1 + area code + phone number
i.e. Sweden
30899/ tone/ 850 00 + 8 + area code + phone number

let me know your comments

regards
ESPA
