Hello, I recently bought a Cingular 8525 and am wondering how to switch back and forth between the internet and an incoming call without loosing the page that I was viewing. I'm new to the windows mobile environment, and haven't figured out the equivalent of the Alt Tab function yet.
Thank you
P.S. The phone is amazing. I'm so glad that I bought it.
when i happen to be surfing the web and rudely interrupted by a phone call, more then likely from someone i dont really wanna talk to, and jus so happens to not be a cingular customer therefore costing me valuable minutes i can use towards rollover, i do answer.. it automaticly takes you to the phone screen, BUT once you're done with the call, you can simply go back to the internet and you should still be on the same page... atleast thats the case with me.

You should be able to just "OK" out of the phone app and it takes you back to Pocket IE and where you were.
Because I may not want to always linearly retrace my steps through apps and windows, I use the Alt-Tab like feature of Spb Pocket Plus. I have assigned it to the voice recorder button on my Dopod 838 Pro (same as the 8525, just what they call it here in Australia) - that button just under the left side OK button. One push on this brings up a view very much like Alt-Tab on Windows (but showing just the apps, not windows within the apps - so more like the Apple-Tab of MacOS X really).
I can either pause for a second and the last used app will then appear, or I can move through the list with the scroll wheel and then push the scroll wheel to select.
