If you're like me you're having problems getting your Media Player to recognize your 2g storage card. I previously had a 8125 (then I got smart :P) and never had a problem when adding files to my library. Then I get this bad boy (8525) and been going through hell since.
Well thanks to yours truly , your problems are now over. follow these 3 easy steps and you should be browsing your library like normal people in no time!
1. delete the MSMETADATA folder on the storage card using File
Manager (if it has a use i have yet to find it, besides... its empty)
2. do a soft reset
3. go to Windows Media Player and select
Menu->Library. Then selected Menu->Update Library. It should proceed to search through the storage card and recognised all of your media. ClickDone and then the Storage Card selection is available again. enjoy!!!
