Just got done unlocking my "new" (slightly used) cingular 8125, popped in my at&t sim from my old reliable mpx 220, works great on older rom version. Does anyone know if I upgrade to latest rom, will I lose unlock? Also, does anyone know how to get 8125 onto internet using at&t sim & mmode?, tried using gprs, won't log on... cingular will send new sim, but i'll lose unlimited plan from pre at&t/cingular merger. I am new to forum and saw a post about eliminating gprs & using wifi only, will go back & read when I get the chance.... also, is there a way to auto change ring profile when bluetooth earpiece is turned on & off like on the mpx220?
